Try a Complete Lesson
Each lesson in Visual Latin has three sections: Grammar, Sentences, and Reading. Each section will then have two parts: a video and a PDF worksheet. You can try out the entire first lesson here on being verbs. (This lesson would normally come after the four introductory lessons which you can download for free.) Watch this first lesson and you’ll learn something new about Latin.

2. Sentences | Being Verbs
Dwane takes the grammar concept and applies it to a series of sentences in Latin. This section normally lasts about 8 minutes. The accompanying Sentences Worksheet includes a series of practice sentences. Since sentences are the building blocks of translation, Visual Latin works with sentences in every lesson.

3. Reading | Being Verbs
Dwane reads a short story, then lets students repeat the Latin after him. All the stories in this section are adapted from the Latin Bible. The accompanying Reading Worksheet requires the students to translate the reading section themselves with vocabulary words provided. Since translation is the goal of learning Latin, every lesson as a real translation component.
